As a result, the luggage compartment length has been increased by 100 mm compared to the previous model. The value of the luggage compartment length is 550 mm with the rear seats close to the rear end, and 715 mm when slid to the front side.

On the other hand, Roomy’s luggage compartment manager is 500 mm when the rear seats are moved to the rear end and 740 mm when slid to the front side, so the luggage compartment manager of the new Solio is thin to Roomy. Solio has eliminated the drawback that the luggage compartment is narrower than the Roomy by a full model change.

Roomy is also focusing on the usability of the luggage compartment. A material that easily removes dirt when the floor is turned upside down is installed, and bicycles with dirty tires can be loaded without hesitation. The Solio is a new model with a wider luggage compartment, but the Roomy is still superior in terms of luggage storage.


The overall width of the new Solio is 1645mm, which is 20mm wider than the previous model, but the actual width measured outside the door mirrors is the same as the previous model. The overall width of the Roomy is 1670mm, so even if the new Solio is widened, it will be narrower than the Roomy. The minimum turning radius is 4.8m for the new Solio and 4.6-4.7m for the Roomy. The reaction to steering and driving stability give the impression that both cars have different personalities. The new Solio has no slow response to steering, and the direction of the vehicle changes relatively quickly. Roomy slows down the response to steering.
